The Hollow Point is what happens when the Boulevardier gets a summer stone-fruit upgrade.
This is the stirred bourbon drink that nobody orders — until they try it once. Then it's the only thing they want all porch season. It's a Boulevardier that traded its orange peel for lemon and added apricot liqueur to the mix, turning bitter Italian aperitivo energy into something juicier, brighter, warmer-weather ready. Front-loaded bourbon punch, mid-palate fruit amplification from vermouth and apricot working together, finish with Campari's signature bitterness and that lemon zinger coming back for the final word.
🥃 INGREDIENTS: • 1.5 oz bourbon • 0.5 oz sweet vermouth • 0.375 oz apricot liqueur • 0.375 oz Campari • Lemon peel for garnish
🥄 METHOD: 1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. 2. Stir for 15 to 20 seconds. 3. Strain up into a coupe or on a big piece of ice in a rocks glass. 4. Garnish with a lemon peel.
Save this for your next patio evening when Negronis feel too heavy.
